The other day, I ordered a Tom Yum soup and green curry with chicken. The soup was seasoned typically (since most restaurants just use a paste that comes from a jar- this is pretty hard to mess up) with white meat chicken and straw mushrooms in it. The mushrooms were very gritty and unpleasant, the chicken was dry and bland. As for the green curry, it was overly sweet and lacked and presence of coconut milk in it- so it didn't have that balance of spiciness to creaminess that makes Thai curries so great. There was a lot of the same dry, bland white meat chicken in the curry as well as a few pieces of bamboo shoot, but honestly- that's all that was in it. The rice was cooked well, some restaurants serve very dry rice, but I have to give them credit- they didn't mess up the rice at least.

It's very inviting. There is not even a front foor, but a SIDE door you go in so you fell like a real member of the Thai family. Nice noodles, nice Veg's.... read more.
