Hodad's Burgers
SAN DIEGO, CA
Welcoming Surfer Joint My wife and I stopped into Hodad's based on a travel books recomendation on our last day of vacation. We love a good burger and this place is close to tops on our list. Large, juicy and delicious. Make sure you get some onion rings as well, they are as big as your head. Although we were obviously from NY and the average age was sub 20 we were welcomed and felt at home. Walls are covered with vanity licence plates and rock music blasts in the background. When your on the west coast this is a definite must stop. Walk off the meal on the beach just a block away. Reviewed on 09/04/2007

Beechwood Cafe & Market
JERSEY CITY, NJ
Slow service and average food Went in for brunch and the staff seemed a bit clueless. Slow to seat us, no menus to start, didnt ask if drinks first and no water on the table. Once the waitress decided she was ready to take our order she was unfamiliar with her own menu, having to point directly at the item before she knew what I ordered. Food came fast. Santa Fe Breakfast burrito and Huevos Rancheros. Both dishes we quite generic, no real outstanding flavor or uniqueness. No coffee refils and waited some time for bill after we were done with our meal. I've definitly had better and wont be going back. Reviewed on 08/04/2007

White Star
JERSEY CITY, NJ
Fast Delivery & Great Food! Ordered a Blue Cheese Burger and Garbage Salad. It was raining. Food came in under 30 minutes. Food was delicious. Looks like a great bar to go hang out at, next time I will stop in and have a drink with my dinner. Reviewed on 07/24/2007
