the decelis family owned a major share of the valley from the 1840s to 1869 and leased a portion of the land to pio pico. our tribute is that of rum, medium sherry, lime, and spice.
certain portions of foothill blvd. were called "horse thief trail" during the late part of the 19th century. in honor of those cowboys we fixed up a mixture of glennfiddich scotch, pedro ximenez sherry, & absinthe.
a reference to don pio pico, the last mexican governor of alta california province. he controlled a large portion of the valley before selling his half-interest to isaac lankershim. we honor him with a mix of cucumber, palo cortado sherry, maraschino, and lemon.
in looking north to san francico, dolores park is named for miguel hidalgo (el grito de dolores), who is considered the father of mexican independence. this cocktail comes to us by way of thomas waugh and brings together a mixture of milagro anejo tequila, amontillado sherry, ginger, and lime.
named after one of the founding family's of ?the valley' and inspired by a cocktail of trader vic's this unique refresher combines hendrick's gin, pedro ximenez sherry, lemon, and egg white.
while we're referencing the bay area, we figured we'd honor one of the father's of tiki culture, trader vic, with this classic of zaya rum, brandy, orgeat, and citrus juices and cream sherry.

the "daisy" was more a family of cocktails than anything else which consisted of spirit, citrus, and fancy liqueur and first appeared in jerry thomas' "bartender's guide" (1862). this one consists of elite by stoli vodka, solerno orange liquor, lemon, and bitters.
