you may hire a licensed and insured caterer of your choice of providing your food. once you secure your date, the event factory will supply you with our preferred caterers' cards. These caterers have proven worthy of our recommendation based on many industry standards. a catering agreement between the event factory and the caterer of your choice must be executed 30 days prior to your event date, guests choosing not to use a licensed and insured caterer may provide their own food only after signing a waiver stating that they accept all responsibility for liability relating to all food. please notify your caterer about the following information:1. the caterer is responsible for supplying all table linens and dinnerware unless otherwise arranged through the event factory. 2. table side beverage or water service must be provided by the caterers staff. 3. the caterer must clean and remove all food and dinnerware from each table and prep zone.
you have two options when providing alcoholic beverages to your guests, both require you to furnish your own ice and coolers(s) for the chilling of beverages, any drinking cups and the appropriate mixers. alcohol may not be served for more than 4 contiguous hours during a 6 hour event and 3 contiguous hours during a 5 hour event, drinks may only be distributed by plastic cups from the bar. no glass bottles or cans away from bar, guest will be asked to provide photo ID showing they are of legal drinking age, all events serving alcohol must provide security by hiring one guard per 150 guests. option 1: you may bring in your own beer, wine, champagne or liquor and hire a bartender from a licensed bartending company that carries complete liquor insurance the chosen company must provide all proof of insurance prior to the event. additional costs may be incurred if additional services such as extra tables and linen are needed from the event factory&c
