english style ale - ipa, golden sunset in color, with tiny sediment in suspension, mild carbonation and a creamy ivory cap with good retention. a swirl brings out light, herbal, hoppy aromas. slightly fruity taste with peppery hops up front, followed by the buttery, caramel malt with mild bitterness on the end. a very nicely balanced beer by a chicago brewer.
urban wheat ale, cloudy yellow in color and densely populated with flavor, 312's spicy aroma of cascade hops in followed by a crisp, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body.
lager, very pale yellowish color with a small, foamy head. subtle citrus hops and a bit of nutty malt in the nose. slightly tart and delicately flavored. mouth feel is crisp with full carbonation. finishes with a mild, earthy bitterness. great example of a kolsch style lager by a relatively new chicago brewer.
red ale, domaine dupage is a rural, northern beer is full and sweet up front with caramel, toasty, and fruity characters. the finish has a gentle floral and spicy hop balanced that cleanses the palate
brown ale, dirty helen, legendary milwaukee tavern owner born in noblesville, in addition to being al capon's "favorite girl," supposedly could cut-swear anybody in town. this brown ale has a penny copper color. it has a rich malty flavor with hints of chocolate and slightly nutty finish.
amber lager, named after the man who helped bring down al capone. an amber lager with rich, fragrant malt flavors balanced by crisp, noble hops. gold medal winner at 5 of the last 6 world beer championships.
flagship of the brewery and award-winning lager is amber-gold in color, and displays and firm malt center supported by a fine bitterness and floral hop aroma. caramel malts show in the finish. the aromatic qualities of the beer are enhanced by "dry-hopping," the centuries-old practice of steeping the beer with fresh hops as the undergoes a long, cold maturation. the result in a wonderfully flavorful beer, smooth, refreshing and very versatile with food.
