"well, life is a bitch. and life is a beach. you've got the sun and the sand and your suit all within your reach. take off the tie. what a sick day! we've gone to build castles in sand and go swimming. it's time for our play!"
the etruscans were making this wine in 700bc so it's had a long time to be perfected and in my opinion this is damn near. it's nose is prominent (must be the italian in it, yuck yuck yuck) and berry fruit sings, but the bitter finish is where it shines! also it's sparkling red wine so it's dope.
the cadillac of domestic, affordable sparkling wines. methode champenoise, baby.
yo, this is some rico effin soave right here. it's like the perfect girl friend, white blossoms, supple body, smells like fresh cut flowers and honey, but it's just a little nutty.
this wine is as dry as steven wright, but with a touch of eddie izzard's fruitiness. there's enough minerals in here to save you on your daily vitamin intake, with a finish of tart meyer lemon, and baked apple. oh, and the fact that it's just slightly effervescent slaps you clean across the mouth (in the way you know you like it, dirty girl).
it was a good day for everyone when the nazi's were defeated and this wine making region escaped a four year german occupancy. it's character leads toward the traditional german whites, like riesling and gewurztraminer but with a more austere and dry french touch. lot's of apple citrus, tropical fruits, and crisp lime. c'est délicieux!
you want to drink this all the time. it's not that it's easy, more like friendly. real friendly. flirty even. it's got a richness of earth off set by a bold black cherry and red raspberry deal going on. there's soft licorice and plum notes that linger into a smoooooth finish.
you spunky little tart! that's what i'd say to this guy who has major sour cherry on the front and rich tobacco and smoke on his back end. he's sort of a dirty bastard, but also i want to put him in my mouth. fresh!
ahhh fresha peeepppppper? si, si. if you were stuck in a farmhouse with your uncle luigi, smoking a fat cigar, while your aunt francesca was baking a fresha cherry pastry and maybe your cousin vinnie was crafting a wooden bench, in that same farmhouse, and you bottled it, you'd basically end up with this gem. bold as hell and tons going on in there. only difference is this family doesn't argue!
